Duckrabbit Digital is run by artists, and we thus bring a practiced and artistic eye to the photo-restoration process. We use only the best equipment from high-quality scanners and computer equipment to archival printing to ensure that you get the best restoration job possible.

How it works:

For restoration work, we edit a high-resolution scan of your work. We can do the scanning for you, or you can have your photo scanned at a local copy-shop and digitally sent to us. We then edit the photo and send you a small jpeg to approve. Upon approval, we send you the large file and, if requested, a physical print(s) of the photo.

Pricing:

Minor Restoration-$10-20

We define Minor restoration as those that have fading and small areas of discoloration, or dust and scratches that are not over detailed areas of the picture.

Moderate Restoration-$20-$60

We define moderate restoration as those that have damaged portions of the image that have to be re-created. This excludes damage to facial features such as eyes, mouth, and nose, unless it is very minor. Minor-moderate water damage would be included in this category.

Major Restoration-$60-100

We define major reconstruction as those that have large portions of the image that have to be re-created. This includes damage over facial areas. This also includes images that have grown old and cracked, so that there is a cob-web type pattern over the entire image. Creases and torn areas are included in this category when they are over detailed or significant portions of the image.
